Description: Medical Doctor Associates is currently seeking to employ Emergency Medicine Opportunity in New Mexico - Locum Tenens right now, this position will be delegated in New Mexico. For complete informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. BC FP, IM, EM physician with EM experience. Must have ACLS, ATLS and PALS. • A combination of weekday, weeknight and/or weekend shift including Holidays • 10 hour shifts. • There is single coverage, except for 4-5 PM and 9 PM-2 AM.
Day shift is 7 AM-5 PM. • Evening shift is 4 PM-2 AM. Night shift is 9 PM-7 AM. • Subspecialties backup - Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Behavioral Health, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics and Podiatry• Type of cases that get shipped: we send out major trauma, orthopedics (when not on call), ophthalmology and psychiatry (when not on call) to nearby Farmington or Albuquerque, New Mexico.• Volume 17,000K, about 45 patients per day• Mix of Patients include Adults, Pediatrics, many diabetics and hypertension• Paper charting â€" moving to EHR• Not a designated trauma hospital.
Being a rural facility, we can get anything, but transfer serious trauma.• About 4-5 nurses if overlapping shifts. Clerk. Radiology/CT tech. Lab.
Respiratory Therapy. Family medicine, OB, Internal Medicine, and Peds on call for consultation or admission. ICU
