Our hospital is community owed and not-for-profit and is home to caring physicians using state-of-the art equipment. Services available include 24/7 emergency services, acute and sub-acute inpatient care, ambulatory, ophthalmic, podiatric and general surgery, outpatient diabetes education, nutritional counseling, sleep diagnostics, pulmonary rehabilitation and asthma clinic, and a Life Line program for seniors.
We are seeking ER Nurses, for a 3 day 12 hr Night Shift. Must have one (2) years emergency room experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. RN License State of New Mexico.
Licenses/Certificates:
Required: Current professional nursing license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred: Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete first course offered
Preferred: Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete the first course offered
Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) if not currently certified at the time of hire encouraged to take first available course offered
Position is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the implementation of a plan of care. The plan is based upon the patient's developmental and health care needs identified through the assessment of the patients physical, psychological, socioeconomic status, and physician orders regarding care, treatment, and education. The staff nurse understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
