Position Summary:
The Division of Pulmonary in the Department of Pediatrics is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant 2 to join our dynamic team. This person will serve as an administrative assistant for our four Pediatric Pulmonologists with a focus on clinic coordination and scheduling. Knowledge of Powerchart and Cerner scheduling is preferred. This position requires someone who has experience in a professional medical office setting. The preferred candidate must be organized, detail oriented, work well independently as well as a team member. Flexibility and the ability to communicate effectively, while coordinating multiple tasks, is required. Working in such a fast-paced division will require focus, follow-up and problem solving skills. This position will be the back-up coverage for the outreach clinics which will require occasional travel in a small plane.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a medical setting Experience with Cerner Scheduling Powerchart experience and Access Experience with clinic coordination Bilingual (Spanish/English)
