Soliant Health is seeking to hire an Occupational Therapist for a contract job opportunity working in a school district in the SE corner of N! ew Mexico. This location is only 1.5 hours from Lubbock, TX. The district would like an OT who can give full time hours. Soliant has placed several therapists in this district and have had very positive feedback. This is a great travel location for an OT looking for something new! The area is progressive, uncrowded, friendly and has a pleasant, dry climate.
Candidates can expect normal school hours, typically between 7:30am and 3:30pm. The caseload will involve students with varying diagnoses and disabilities from elementary through high school. More exact information on the population and caseload for this position is currently being gathered. This district has several OTs on staff, so collaboration is an important aspect of this assignment!
Occupational Therapists with experience providing therapy to a pediatric based population in a school setting will be most qualified for this opening. Strong new grads will also be considered! Before beginning this jo! b, the OT will need to have up to date license for the state o! f New Mexico.
