Post by Jobing - Job Title: Lead LPN Description: JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of an outpatient manager and/or director, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in a! ccordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and clinic policy. Performs general nursing tasks. Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions. Collaborates with the outpatient manager and/or director in shift schedule assignments and monitor attendance.

Provide clinical supervision for nursing and nonâ€"clinical staff. Serves as a role model to staff, preceptor and/or mentor. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.

7.Demonstrates quality improvement, facilitating the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and functioning of the unit. 8.Responsible for completing basic clinical staff LPN compe! tencies in addition to departmental specific competencies. Qualificatio! ns: EDUCATION Required â€" Graduate from a practical nursing program. Preferred â€" Associate's Degree in related discipline EXPERIENCE Required â€" One (1) year of LPN experience in clinical setting KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Knowledge of clinical/specialty area.

Strong conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality; basic math skills, basic computer skills. Supervision/management knowledge and experience.
