Chicago Speech Therapy is the leading provider of in-home pediatric speech therapy in greater Chicago. We seek (YOU) a tremendously personable, organized, and hard-working individual to work full-time in our Lincoln Park office and support operations. You will report directly to the practice manager (who is an amazing leader and will virtually transform you into an even more amazing person). Those who have worked with him report that it has changed the trajectory of their very lives. This position is one in which you will be given tremendous responsibility within several weeks.
Our ideal candidate would...
- Be a recent college grad with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to manage multiple projects
- Enjoy being forced outside of their comfort zone
- Have had jobs dealing with the public (customer service, waitress, etc.)
- Understand sales and marketing
- Be able to take initiative P-R-O-A-C-T-I-V-E
- Be hard working, energetic, and results oriented
- Be able to “connect†with people (the socially awkward need not apply!)
- H! ave an entrepreneurial spirit
- Have a car to use when needed
Some of What You’ll Do:
This is a full-time position will include responsibilities such as:
- Client Consulting: Speaking to and meeting with concerned parents to help them enroll in therapy. (no prior speech knowledge required)
- Marketing Operations: Working on sales and marketing, mailings, spreadsheets, writing, sales calls, ordering supplies, dealing with pediatricians, referral sources, recruiting, research, etc.
- Insurance Consulting: Liaison between insurance companies and clients as well as monitoring and entering payments to ensure correct payment processing.
Start date May to June 2014 (early application given preference)
