Health and Safety Advisor
As a result of Safety Mates continued growth, we are seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to join our team to assist in various client portfolios.
We work across a wide range of client types and diverse portfolios including Quality Management, Emergency Management, Food Safety, AML/CTF, WHS, Incident Management and Training Program developed across all aspects.
Safety Mates has clients across Australia and we are looking for a candidate that has drive with a willingness to learn new skills.
You will be trusted to:
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation internal WHS and Compliance Systems
- Ensure internal WHS systems and legislative requirements are implemented effectively.
- Support our client in development of WHS and Compliance policy and procedures along with training initiatives
- Asset our clients with improvements and strategies in response to changes to legislative requirements or internal changes pertaining to work systems or processes
- Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Safety Mates WHS systems
- Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
What you’re good at:
- You should have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- You should have attention to detail and be well-organised and driven in your approach to delivering high-quality tasks on time, on budget, safely, and to high standards.
- It is advantageous if you have previous exposure in customer-facing roles.
- Our team loves innovation and ideas, are always ready for a laugh and willing to go out of our way to help each other and roll up their sleeves to drive positive project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- WHS Cert V or higher required
- Fire Safety Advisor Qualification desirable
- Experience in Food service or hospitality environment desirable
