Develop policies and procedures to improve patient care and utilization of clinic resources.* Supervise and coordinate activities of a clinic/department to include establishing and maintaining systems for patient flow through the clinic/department and the utilization of clinic and ancillary facilities and manpower.Standard Work* Integrate action plans into daily operations & execute action plans* Achieve and sustain required results* Resolve in the moment issues* Ensure clinical bundles are used effectively* Observe for and resolve patient safety issues* Own and support continuous improvement activities* Empower staff to generate ideas to solve OFIs* Greets and provides assistance to visitors and patients. Adheres to JCAHO and ACR guidelines.* Accountable for daily business processes and Business Office communication. Responsible for data gathering for operational analysis of site. Oversees compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates CQI initiatives.* Functions as liaison between physicians and staff.Standard Work* Integrate action plans into daily operations* Ensure org policy/procedure is followed/appropriate* Participate in PEP teams and spreads* Execute action plans from root cause analysis* Facilitate improved patient throughput/flow initiatives* Manage customer complaints through Midas* Celebrate and recognize accomplishments* Attend ELFs/QEFs* Ensure staff attends QEFs (electronic or live)* Approve electronic Manager/Requisition Self Serve requests* SME/Knowledgable of unit/program & organizational policy & procedure* Eliminate/Reduce nonâ€"value added processes* Participates in the planning processes and formatting budget preparation and ongoing monitoring as part of the team. Participate in personal and team development of employees. Bachelor degree required or experience may be substituted for education in accordance with established guidelines. New Mexico Nursing License required.
Three to five years experience in ambulatory care experience preferred.
