Position Summary:
The Developmental Care Program, Department of Pediatrics, Neonatology Division, is seeking a full-time Sr. Program Therapist. The interdisciplinary Developmental Care team (social workers, occupational, physical, speech, family and infant massage therapists, early childhood educator, family liaisons) is an integral component of the Neonatology Division. The Division and Program serve infants and families in a 51 bed regional NICU, including transitions to home and statewide follow-up. The Sr. Program Therapist provides relationship-based, comprehensive support services for families of premature and/or critically ill infants as part of an interdisciplinary team.! This position is responsible for providing, overseeing, and/o! r administering a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessments, crisis intervention, and case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making. This position may also require training lower level social workers, students, and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position. Knowledge of community resources including resources for meeting basic needs, housing, and mental health services as well as collaborating with other hospital departments and outside organizations is required. The position will require weekend and evening hours. This is a full-time benefits eligible position. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Preferred Qualifications:
NM licensure an LISW Experience providing clinical case work Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Experience and knowledge of early childhood Development and Infant Mental Health intervention strategies. Experience working with families in a consultative preventive intervention model Bilingual skills in English/Spanish
