Position Summary:
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Mgr, School Based Health Clinics to work in a fast-paced professional office located in downtown Albuquerque with the program, "Envision New Mexico: The Initiative for Child Healthcare Quality." Envision NM (ENM) is a pediatric quality improvement program that provides training, development and evaluation services to improve the quality of health services for children and youth throughout the state. ENM maintains an expert staff, utilizes up to date information technology, and draws upon the resources of the UNM Health Sciences Center to train and support health care providers in employing ! 'best practices' to ensure effective and efficient care health! services.
The SBHC Manager provides clinical, administrative and fiscal direction for the multi-site School-Based Health program. Working with a multidisciplinary staff the SBHC manager implements student care policies and procedures, and directs, coordinates, and oversees the administration of all clinical personnel and associated program support staff. The SBHC Manager supervises the Program Coordinator and oversees the fiscal operations of the clinics, to include development and administration of operating budgets and expenditures, clinic supplies inventory management, third party reimbursement, and grant management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Nursing; at least 5 years of directly related experience to include at least 2 years at a supervisory or managerial level.
State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with New Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care services in a SBHC program
Experience in developing patient care protocols and standards
Experience with the SBHC program structure and supervising clinical and SBHC staff
Experience managing a grant including : overseeing contract deliverables and reporting
Experience providing care in a pediatric or adolescent setting
Experience developing school nursing policies and procedures
