Responsible for the overall operations, personnel, implementation, and evaluation of activities for providing outpatient ambulatory car! e of Medical Clinics. Ensure continuity and quality of service and care through daily operations management. Role accountabilities: Ensure delivery of optimal and safe patient care which includes fiscal management, strategic planning, standards compliance, clinical practice, staff recruiting and development, oversight and active participation in clinical practice, and performance improvement activities that evaluate program effectiveness. Promote the SRMC Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care. Ensure adherence to SRMC and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Licenses/Certifications :
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of New Mexico, or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by state of New Mexico.
ACLS Certificatio! n or must obtain within 6 months of date of position.
! BLS Certification or must obtain within 6 months of date of position.
PALS Certification or must obtain within 6 months of date of position.
Work Experience: Three (3) years management experience in applicable specialty.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Master Degree in Nursing
Licenses/Certifications :
ACLS instructor.
PALS instructor.
BLS instructor.
Work Experience: Five (5) years management experience in applicable specialty.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of physician clinic operations and clinical nursing skills.
Physiological knowledge.
Knowledge in administering medicines and in infection control.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in tactical planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
Cons! iderable verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Considerable analysis and problem solving skills.
Computer software skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Knowledge of managing challenging patient expectations in an outpatient environment.
