Nurse Practitioner/PANew grad or experienceNeuroscience area o! f medicine- Full time - M-F, 8-5 - Days The Nurse Practitioner/PA is responsible for providing primary care to patients, including adults and children in accordance with clinic policies and following established standards and practices, as allowed under the State of New Mexico Nursing Practice Act. All communication is to be conducted with a positive attitude and in a manner consistent with the SJRMC mission, vision and philosophy. QualificationsCurrent valid and unrestricted Certified Nurse Practitioner/PA license or graduate nurse practitioner permit to practice.Active member of SJRMC Allied Health Professional Staff. Essential Job Responsibilities• Provide routine medical care and treatment to adults and children.• Exercise good faith efforts to assist SJRMC to build the clinic patient base through networking, community education and other reasonable marketing activities.• Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.•! Provides medical services within the scope of license, traini! ng and credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care • Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment • Examines and treats patients of all ages, including geriatrics • Prepares patient medical histories; performs physical examinations; diagnoses and treats patients; prescribes medication; orders lab test, x-rays and other diagnostic studies; counsels patients on preventive care and medical problems• Evaluates and treats patients, prescribes medications, educates patients, and documents patient encounters 5k relo5k sign on89,250 plus bonusfull benefits15-20 patients per day
