Function in a primary care setting in the role of practitioner, mentor, consultant, educator and researcher. Establish goals and priorities in accordance with ! patient and staff needs and organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to SRMC Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care - Women's Specialties: Ages of patients served restricted to adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Family Practice Clinic: Ages of patients served may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Senior Health Clinic: Ages of patients served restricted to geriatric age groups.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Nurse Practitioner Program Graduate from an accredited school.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS : Licensed Nurse Practitioner in State of New Mexico. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Committee (ANCC). CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position. ACLS or PALS as applicable. Pediatric Nursing Certification as applicable

Specialization in applicable ! area
Bilingual English/Spanish Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
This position requires operational knowledge of all equipment in the Community Clinic, including: computer, printer, scanner, fax, copy machine, phone systems, and computer programs (including Hospital Information Systems, MS Office, e-mail, and internet). This employee must be service oriented and have excellent customer service skills, leadership skills, computer skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills, interpersonal skills, time management skills, the ability to prioritize work, and telephone etiquette. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
