Lovelace Women's Hospital is New Mexico's first and only hospital dedicated to women's health and featur! es a 53-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 24/7 emergency department, 16 labor and delivery rooms, 41-bed Mother-Baby unit, a Maternal-Fetal Medicine program for high-risk pregnancies, and a Pediatric Observation Unit supervised 24/7 by pediatricians. Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge. Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions. Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and pati! ent safety.
Requirements:
Valid NM RN Lice! nse or valid multi-state compact license and BLS; HIRING DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS.
