Position Summary:
The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Initiates, reviews, processes and maintains records of a variety of complex fiscal and budgetary accounting transactions in support of the accountant and business manager for the Center. Investigates and resolves problems related to funds, budgets! , expenditures and procurement practices. Reconciles, provides! and interprets reports for program managers using internal fiscal shadow system. Provides assistance in the development, implementation and management of fiscal systems and procedures applying basic concepts, methods and techniques. Supervises and/or prepares daily deposits for the Center including a complex database report that tracks MFP deposits across several indexes. Prepares vehicle gas cards and credit card report to allocate expenses to programs based on usage. Acts as lead for other fiscal service tech's.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experie! nce that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with:
Banner Finance applications
Working with grant funding.
Reviewing/auditing P-card logs for accuracy.
Processing high level of PHAREDS.
Researching, collecting, analyzing, compiling data and developing management reports.
Knowledge of:
Restricted and unrestricted accounts, preferably with HSC.
UNM's policies and procedures in regards to purchasing, p-cards, travel and deposits.
UNM accounting policies and procedures to include journal vouchers, direct payment documents, and expenditures.
Proficiency using MS Excel spreadsheets and charts to illustrate routine financial reports and MS Access for querying data.
