Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 02/14/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified Pediatrician needed in a Long Island facility for a coverage opportunity starting mid February. The provider will be working solo with office staff support and must be well-versed in a Pediatric outpatient setting.
A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21! years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic ill! ness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
Required Qualifications
Pediatrician needed - Feb 14th & Feb 15th - SCHEDULE: Fri: 8:30a - 4:00pm (30 min lunch) & Sat: 8:30a - 11:30am (No lunch) - No Call - BC, 25-ppd, Avg age: 1-15, 5% newborns (Not required if not comfortable). Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Walk-ins only. Support Staff: The locum will be the solo provider with 3x MA support. There is EMR charting (Eclinical Works) client will train.
