Description
Creating Opportunities for Physical Activity (COPA) is a physical activity and nutrition initiative in seven K-5 elementary schools in Wilmington, CA. COPA works to build a culture of daily physical activity and healthy eating on school campuses and in the surrounding community using a peer coach model. The peer coach model differs from direct service in that all activities are conducted with the focus on training others how to perform the functions to ensure long term sustainability.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of college
- 6 months experience working with groups of children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in elementary school setting
- Experience engaging groups of children in physical activity games and programming
