Description: RN Network is hiring Operating Room/Ambulatory Care/MedSurg - Nursing right now, this vacancy will be ordered in New Mexico. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Operating Room/Ambulatory Care/MedSurg opening in Grants, New Mexico. Travel Opportunity in Grants, NM for Experienced OR nurse!25 bed facility with 2 surgical! suites and 1 endoscopy/minor procedure room. OR staff covers: Pre-op & patient admitting, OR circulating or scrub for procedures, PACU and post-surgical care. Department has 6 stretchers for pre-op/post-op care.
Duties are rotated with other OR staff. Department has 4 RNS and 3 ORTs. CRNA provides anesthesia. Surgeries are generally general surgery cases, endoscopies and dental rehab for pediatric patients--no major orthopedics.
Staff must have ACLS as they care for patients in PACU and administer moderate conscious sedation for the endoscopy procedures. Department is staffed from 6am-3pm Mon-Fri, and remaining hours are covered by on-call staff and rotated with other RNS.
