Post by Jobing - RNâ€" Inpatient Location: Sandoval Regional Medical Center Job Code: 157 # of Openings: 7 Description RNâ€"Inpatient Promote and restore patients'! health through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervise assigned team members. Provide clinical leadership for other staff and assume relief charge duties when designated. Serve as a role model to promote the SRMC Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care. Ensure adherence to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements Education: Nursing program (nationally accredited) graduate Licenses/Certifications: RN MATRIX â€" Complete and maintain unit/clinic based required certifications and competencies as listed in the department expectations/and or the unit/clinic education matrix Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Stat! e of New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by State! of New Mexico IV Certification within six (6) months of date of position CPR Certification or must obtain within thirty (30) calendar days of date of position ACLS Certification or must obtain within six (6) months of date of position for Telemetry care Basic Arrhythmia Certification or equivalent within six (6) months of date of position for Telemetry care Work Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience or completion of intern/extern program, or successful completion of unit orientation Preferred Qualifications/Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing or enrolled by January 2015 Work Experience: • Nationally certified in area of specialty, within two years of date of hire • TNCC/ENPC Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Physiological knowledge Knowledge in bedside manner Knowledge in Infection Control Clinical Nursing Skills Skill in administering medication Multiâ€"tasking skills Communication skills Medical teamwork abilities Health promoti! on and maintenance abilities
