Post by Jobing - Paramedic (Evening Shift) Location: Sandoval Regional Medical Center Job Code: 347 # of Openings: 1 Description Paramedic Provide superior quality patien! t care during interâ€"facility critical care treatment and transportation for critically injured and/or ill patients to preâ€"determined destinations as requested by sending facility and physician. Assist in the Emergency Department as an ER Technician at the direction of the Charge RN when not on a transport. Utilize critical care training and appropriate administration of Clinical Practice Guidelines and critical care transport standing orders. Serve as a role model to promote the SRMC Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care.
Will report compliance, safety and/or equipment issues to department director. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignments may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Graduated from vocational or trade school in Paramedicine PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree ! in Emergency Medicine LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: NRâ€"EMTâ€"P in! the state of New Mexico without restriction or limitation Maintains Class “E†License Current CPR Certification Current ACLS Certification â€"6 Current PALS Certification â€"6 Current NRP Certificationâ€"6 PREFERRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: CCEMT EXPERIENCE: 5 years of Paramedic experience with 2 years of interâ€"facility transports KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Physiological Knowledge, Administering Medication, Medical Teamwork, Multiâ€"tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance
