Position Summary:
The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The CDD is seeking a UNM student to assist the telehealth (video conferencing) support team to provide service including: video conferencing and webinar hardware and software support, equipment repairs, customer service and technical support. The preferred candidate will have customer service experienc! e, an interest in information technology and be well organized! . Experience with ITV support, video conferencing, and video or webinar production would be helpful. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Troubleshoot and configure: computers, video conferencing equipment and other devices used by CDD staff. 2. Set up equipment and provide support for video conferences and webinars. Shut down and secure equipment after events. 3. Update records in the REACH database to coordinate and track future events and keep records of past events for reporting purposes. 4. Orient new users to video conferencing while performing a test connection. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Good communication (oral and written) and customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft software and services (such as Microsoft Office and Windows 7) Ability to evaluate and solve technical problems. An intention to develop a career in information technology is preferred. Distinguishing Characteristics: Good analytical skills will help to resolve technical problems. Cus! tomer service orientation. Interest in information technology.

Customer service experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft software and services (such as Microsoft Office and Windows 7). Experience producing video conferences or webinars. Experience in answering questions and providing front-line troubleshooting for Technology Support.
