This job opening is for a full time Speech Language Pathologist interested in a contract assignment with a scho! ol district close to the southwestern city of Albuquerque, NM. The position would be a great fit for a local therapist looking for more permanent or stable work (contract extension or permanent hire are possible), or a traveler only looking for short term contract. The SLP will work 32.5 hours per week with a pediatric population, possibly divided between elementary, middle, and high schools within the district.
The district would prefer to hire a Speech Therapist with pediatric experience, especially in a school setting, but will consider candidates with limited experience who are dedicated to the profession and have the ability to learn quickly. Bilingual SLP-CCCs (English-Spanish) will be given priority, as well as higher compensation! There is a possibility that similar opportunities may be available for Clinical Fellows seeking employment out of grad school in the area.
