TVHC is conveniently located in the Heart of the Bay, only a 30 minute drive to San Francisco! Work with a dynamic team to provide primary care in an outpatient setting to multicultural and multilingual patient populations.
DUTIES INCLUDE: Provide primary care, commensurate with training under the direction of our Chief Medical officer. Provide supervision to PA‘s and Nurse Practitioners, supervise MA's and lab personnel in area specific support services for patient care delivery. Provide review and countersignature of client charts including the charts seen by Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwives. Sign RXs and documents that require a medical doctor's signature.
OTHER DETAILS: Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week; some Saturday work, extended hours, and on-c! all may be required. Productivity expectations are 20-24 patients per day. CME and many other perquisites are included in comprehensive and competitive package.
REQUIRED: Medical degree (M.D.) and completed residency in Pediatrics. Licensed to practice in State of California; Must be board eligible in Pediatrics; board certification is highly desirable. Current DEA license and CPR certification. Bilingual in English and one of the following strongly preferred: Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Farsi, or Punjabi. Basic Computer knowledge is preferable as we are transitioning to EHR (Nextgen).
