We currently have an opening for a full-time Pediatrician to work at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico . The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements.
Requirements
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- M.D/D.O
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Have a current and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in any US state of territory.
- Shall possess a current Board eligibility of certification by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Shall provide documentation of completion of an ACGME- approved Pediatric residency program
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license in any state
- Must be a US citizen
Scope of Work
- Provider shall provide professional medical services in the outpatient setting, which includes consultation services.
- Provider shall provide direct patient care services under the terms of this contract, appropriate and timely medical services in accordance with the standards of care
established by recognized medical care organizations and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Service Unit’s medical staff by- laws, rules and regulations, including attendance at department and medical staff meetings.
- Provider shall perform diagnosis, care and treatment of pediatric outpatients and/or inpatients, level 2 nursery patients, pediatrics consults in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Department and consultations of the inpatients admitted to other services (Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN).
