Background
Profjord is a consultancy company that offers design and analysis primarily for the marine business with its main competence in hydrodynamics. The company was founded 1992 and have a lot of experience and knowledge in-house to offer its customer valuable help in the design and development of their projects. Presently 5 engineers working at Profjord, all with a naval architect background. Profjord offers comprehensive constancy and design work that includes CFD and other advanced calculations.
Profjord needs a manager to lead and drive the sales and business forward together with the co-workers at Profjord. The role will be divided into:
- Manage the sales to the existing customer base and type of projects that we already do today.
- Develop business areas and the group that are in the marine field.
- Perform some of the consultancy assignments.
The work is to partly drive sales and business development and partly perform consultancy work to get a good knowledge in the design and competence that rest in the company. This includes basic knowledge of the CFD and simulation programs that are used.
The role is a business area manager that has P&L and growth responsibility and it require also knowledge in business administration.
The company needs a dedicated person who likes the marine business and wants to develop a strong and competent team of engineers that succeed to grow with the customer and within the market.
The person we want is a business-oriented person that wants to develop both technology and business in the marine domain. It is a merit to have a Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture or similar.
