Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations, to include TEE exams, for subsequent review by a Cardiologis! t and treatment by an attending physician. Ensure adherence to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree in related field
Licenses/Certifications : CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position; must obtain one of the following within one (1) year of date of position hire: (ARDMS) American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or, (CCI/RCS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiac Sonography
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree in Biomedical Sciences; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Work Experience : Two (2) years echocardiography work experience; Bilingual Engli! sh/Spanish
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications
