Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales is a critical role in Zoosh Digital, responsible for driving the revenue growth and ensuring the overall success of the sales department. They are responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the organization, leading a team of sales professionals, while building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners. The VP will be a quota carrying position, expected to close C-level business with our future customers.

Responsibilities

The VP of Sales will have the following responsibilities:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the organization. This includes setting revenue targets, identifying new sales opportunities, and creating a plan to achieve the targets. The VP of Sales will be responsible for ensuring that the sales team is aligned with the overall vision and goals of the organization, and that they are working towards achieving them.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring the team to ensure that they are performing at their best. The VP of Sales will be responsible for setting performance targets for the team and ensuring that they are met.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners. This includes identifying new opportunities for sales, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the services provided by the organization.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This includes creating a sales pipeline, setting up a CRM system, and creating a sales playbook.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals. This includes working with the marketing department to create campaigns that generate leads, and working with the product development team to ensure that new products are aligned with the needs of the market.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for analyzing market trends and adjusting the sales strategy accordingly. This includes identifying new market opportunities, monitoring competitor activity, and adjusting the sales strategy to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the VP of Sales role should have the following qualifications:

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in sales, with a track record of achieving revenue targets. Experience in the software development industry or technical outsourcing is a plus.

5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a software development agency or in an outsourcing organisation

The candidate should have world class communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. They should be able to communicate naturally with clients, partners, and team members.

The candidate should have a proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth and profitability. They should be able to identify new market opportunities, develop a sales pipeline, and close deals.

The candidate should have experience working with software development teams and understanding of the software development life cycle. They should be able to understand the technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
