Work Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 7AM-4PM, 1 hour lunch break

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Logistics Specialist to join our team. Under supervision, the Logistics Specialist performs various tasks and responsibilities to support the efficient functioning of the Logistics/Laydown Team. The primary focus is to contribute to the smooth functioning of the company's logistics operations, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Logistics Specialist will work with the team in ensuring all materials, supplies, parts, and equipment are in the right places. This team member should possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
- Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Assist craft workers.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
- Perform site clean-up.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Communicating efficiently and working with the engineers and other members of the construction management team
- Maintain productive and professional relationships with internal business partners and other on-site trades and vendors.
- Work overtime as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Warehouse/Construction/Laydown experience: >1 year
- Must be able to safely work outside in the Laydown yard and other construction areas where there is minimal sun shade
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to consistently stand/lift/bend
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Fluent in English
- Able to work well with other team members
- Strong written and verbal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 30
- Forklift certification
- Telehandler certification (Class 7)
- Warehouse/Construction/Laydown experience: >3 years
- Forklift Experience: >3 years
Benefits:
- Compensation range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. (Depending on experience)
