JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily operations, personnel and revenue ! tracking of assigned clinic(s) and/or site(s) as established by departmental guidelines. Ensures continuity and quality of care for all services provided within the assigned Clinic or site. Responsible for all of the daily administrative functions associated with a multi-provider medical practice. This includes scheduling of all required staff levels within the Clinic/Site and the hiring, training, counseling and performance management of administrative staff. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety; develops and revises department policies, procedures, and protocols. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides leadership demonstra! ting the ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, counsel and dev! elop staff to work toward their highest level of function, in accordance with job descriptions and competencies. Delegates staff effectively; demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, direct, control, monitor and evaluate services, while using the available resources appropriately.
2. Responsible for the daily monitoring of charge capture patient encounters, co-payment collections, accounts receivable, denials, cash collections and credit/refunds. Develops reporting mechanisms to provide accurate updates to Clinic/Site Management Team on process improvements regarding revenue related activities.
3. Works closely with Manager of Business Services Operations (MBSO) to ensure sound fiscal and business performance within Clinic/Site, and implements any necessary changes/modifications as directed by MBSO.
4. Accountable for managing staff schedules, including physician, on a daily basis to ensure optimum scheduling and coverage of Clinic/Site services. This includ! es monitoring staff and physician requests for time off to ensure proper coverage at all times.
5. Ensures staff and leadership training and development programs are implemented, monitored and enforced in compliance with organizational initiatives and regulatory requirements. Develops opportunities for personal and professional goal achievement for self and assigned staff.
6. Works closely as part of Clinic/Site Management Team to align processes and clinic outcomes with ABQ Health Partner’s strategic plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.

EDUCATION

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree healthcare or business related field.

EXPERIENCE

Required â€" Two (2) years related experience of which one (1) year must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Desired: Managed Care experience; Related experience in technical or specialty! areas assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability t! o communicate effectively; ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.
Desirable: Knowledge of professional billing and various healthcare requirements including, but not limited to, access, coding, billing, collections, practice management systems, payer relations, appeals, and authorization process.
